We Have a Deck

They wrapped up construction of our deck on Friday (July 1). Actually, we noticed that we are short one light due to our salesman giving us an incorrect number after we decided to not add a shade structure. I need to call them on Tuesday and arrange to have the light ordered and installed.

But otherwise, it looks great. We bought a patio set, Dogwood by {Meadowcraft](http://www.meadowcraft.com/), and picked up a red market umbrella. Adds a splash of color in the backyard. We still need to get a few things like a deck box, planters, new grill, and such, but it is a good start.

Dad stopped by on Saturday, and we grilled brats and corn and had our first meal on the deck. The weather was absolutely perfect for an evening outside. We were afraid that by the time the deck was complete the weather would have become too hot to enjoy it, but we lucked out.
