I finally made the effort and updated my travel countdown page. It was starting to depress me seeing so few countdowns on the page for 2015. Last year I had my first trip in by the end of January. This year, we’re almost done with March and my first trip is still two weeks away.
Last year I came very close to achieving A-List status on Southwest, missing it by a couple flights. In January, Southwest offered me A-List status for the rest of the year because I was so close. I’m sure they hope that I like the perks enough to work on earning enough points to keep it
