Microsoft Ignite Hotel List Updated & Academic Discount Sells Out

I updated my Microsoft Ignite hotel list post to show which hotels are still available as of this morning. Since then, twenty-one hotels have sold out and forty-three remain on the list to book. As you can see from the map, most hotels that are available are located north of the river. I booked south of the river to avoid having to navigate the bridges which can be a bottleneck at times. If you have booked your hotel yet, time to get moving!

I’m not sure when it happened, but the Academic Faculty and Staff Discount is no longer available. The number of these discounts is always quite limited, and the registration site does show that it is now sold out. I always book immediately to make sure I get that reduced price. Hard to argue about $1,000 off the full conference price.
