Another month has gone by and it’s time for another update to my (unofficial) Microsoft Ignite 2019 Hotels page. Ignite is only 82 days away, and we may be getting close to Ignite selling out (according to an August 8th tweet from @shonadelie that has since been deleted). The hotel availability certainly reflects that we’re almost there as the pickings are pretty slim.

A quick reminder about the list and its caveats:

• “Unavailable” means the hotel no longer shows up my search for a Sunday-Friday stay. If your dates differ, the hotel may show up in your search.
• Hotels that have been marked “Unavailable” or “Sold Out” may become available again depending on cancellations and/or additions to the block.

That leaves only two hotels left that are coming up as available in a search in the official conference block. The two remaining hotels are:

• Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center
• Rosen Plaza Hotel

Remember, these are the results for a Sunday-Friday stay. If I adjust the search for Saturday-Friday, I get one hotel, the Rosen Plaza. A Saturday-Saturday stay brings up no hotels.

I will say that in the space of fifteen minutes, these searches gave slightly different results, so things are fluid. Your takeaway from all of this should be to go and register for Ignite if you haven’t already. Time is running out if you want to join us in Orlando in November.
