Eisner Disses 2D Animation
Michael Eisner dismisses traditional 2D animation in a story by Greg Hernandez of the Los Angeles Daily News.
“The 2-D business is coming to an end, just like black and white came to an end,” Eisner said.
Wrong answer Michael. 2D animation is not coming to an end. The problem isn’t the animation style. The problem is the content. Maybe if you had more compelling stories and music, traditional Disney animation would be more successful. I don’t go to a Pixar movie because it is CGI. I go because their movies have all been great products.
