Shaggy and I went to the park for a walk on a beautiful day in St. Louis, even more beautiful simply because it was that nice in February. Winter? What winter? Taking pictures of him can be quite challenging since he’s more interested in wandering, sniffing, and rolling than posing or even looking anywhere near …
This photo turned out far better than I could have expected. Something about the setting sun and the leaves caught my eye and I snapped it quick with a dachshund tugging the whole time. You can see Shaggy at the bottom, although I’m not sure what he has stopped to look at. Probably nothing…
When you’re in need of a picture for Project 365, you can always depend on the resident dog. Shaggy may not be especially fond of “the donut” but it is more open than the Comfy Cone. Plus whenever he wants to lie down, he never has to search for a pillow.
Shaggy was wearing his donut, an alternative to his Comfy Cone. He was on his back and it worked its way off his neck until it was just sitting on his nose. He looked too silly to not take his picture.
Shaggy’s Comfy Cone was in the wash (and boy did it need it…), so he wore his donut for part of the day. He wears the cone (and donut) to keep him from licking/chewing on his paws/legs.
