USA Today writes that Midwest is scrambling to avoid bankruptcy. I haven’t flown with them for some time, but they were always a great way to fly. Back when they were Midwest Express, I enjoyed the big leather seats, food on real plates, fresh-baked cookies, and personal video players at very reasonable rates. I know things have changed over the years, but it will be too bad if they get folded into Northwest.
