As I was walking around campus today after lunch, I spotted this grotesque on the arch in Brookings Hall. It definitely lives up to its name. If you thought it was a gargoyle, that only applies to grotesques that are drain-spouts.
My office is in a computer room, in the basement, so I’d love to have a window of any kind. However, I’m sure the novelty wears off pretty quick for these folks whose view is of a wall just a few feet away.
