2008 was a down year for Christmas cards, not surprisingly. We sent out 91 cards this year, up one from 2007. So far we’ve received 36 cards in return, down 11 from last year. Many of the people on the list receive cards whether or not they send us one, such as family members. For everyone else though, we drop people after three years without a card. Unless we get a few more in the next few days, looks like some other folks may be getting dropped.

• At Three Dog Bakery to pick up some doggy gifts. #
• At the car wash. Need to get that salt off. #
• Just sat down at our table at Stoney River. #
• Just finished dinner. Delicious ribeye. Bone-in. YUM! And half remains for another meal.l #
• Some drunk from adjacent Drury Inn refused service at restaurant bar. Became violent. Cops came and tasered him in the hotel lobby. #
• Need to take Collen back to vet on Friday. Paw still bothering him. Noticed what looks like a cyst on pad tonight. Poor puppy. #
• Vet opens at 8:30 on Friday. @keladewig will be doing Hallamrk ornament shopping on her own this year whle I take Collen in. #

• Headache came out of nowhere. Not going to make it very long today if this doesn’t subside. #

• Done at the post office. #
• Starting process to refi mortgage and lock in a fixed at the same 4.75% rate we’ve enjoyed on our current 7 yr balloon that ends in 2010. #
• Christmas cards are done. Get mailed tomorrow. Never sent cards out so late before. #
• And the Packers give aother one away at the end of the game…. #
