Here we go with another installment of Disney 2007 photos. I’ve added an album for Day Four which mostly covers the Wilderness Lodge resort with a few other areas tossed in for good measure. Here’s one from Epcot.

I’m so far behind in posting photos from our various trips, so I figured I need to at least post the pictures from our Walt Disney World trip last month. We were there June 8-13, staying at Wilderness Lodge, our new favorite resort. Although Yacht and Beach Club still have the most convenient location, Wilderness Lodge (WL) has incredible theming as well as a great location. From the minute you set foot in the lobby, you may as well be in the Pacific Northwest. The pool area is one of the best at WDW with a mountain stream flowing directly into the pool. And you can hop a boat or take a nature hike over to Fort Wilderness (we didn’t try the trails, but hope to do that next time), or take the boat over to the Magic Kingdom and Contemporary Resort. One night we had dinner at Citricos at the Grand Floridian and took the boat from WL to Magic Kingdom (MK), then switched to another boat to the Grand Floridian (GF), then headed back after dinner via monorail to the Contemporary, then boat again to WL. We hit all of the major parks, watched the space shuttle liftoff (as mentioned in a previous post), and were filmed in a crowd for an upcoming Wonderful World of Disney episode. A great vacation as always!
I have pictures uploaded from the first three days, coverin the Magic Kingdom and Star Wars Weekends at Disney-MGM Studios. The space shuttle photos are there as well. Here are a few pictures to whet your appetite. Head over to my Walt Disney World 2007 gallery for more.

I received two promotional items in the mail today for a company sponsoring a conference on project management. What was strange were the addresses on the items. One was addressed to Farah Fath, Chief Technology Officer for “Ladewig Scott” at my address. The other was for Richard Grant with all the other information the same. Apparently the sender bought a list from someone who scoured websites for names. What I don’t understand is how you scavenge some random names and then slap a CTO title on them and then assume I’m a company. I knew I had a post that mentioned Farah from when she was on Days of Our Lives, and I had the opportunity to meet her at a fan event. But Richard Grant was a mystery until I ran a a quick search of the blog and discovered a post talking about an online Doctor Who webisode where the Doctor was played by Richard Grant. I don’t know where they bought the list, but they need to find a new source for leads, because these just make them look stupid.
Take a look around and check out the new look for the site! I’ve finally made the move from Movable Type to Wordpress, and changed over to a new theme as well. I’ve mucked aroun with themes in the past, but the reality is I have neither the time nor the talent to create a good-looking theme. So after much searching, I settled on iTheme from the folks at N.Design Studio. I’m not a Mac person by any means, but I really like this theme. I tweaked it a bit here and there, but not too much.
Why move to WordPress? Frankly I was tired of having to rebuild everything all the time, and I kept finding more plugins and themes being made for WordPress that I wanted to use. Plugins like Twitter Tools for example. So far I’m pretty pleased. Let me know what you think.
Please note, there are a few items that are missing from my old site, and I’m working to bring those over. One of these days I may even get around to loading my pre-2003 posts.
