Kristin was checking out some web sites today and found a picture of her and I on the web site for Ed Seale Designs. Ed Seale is an ornament designer who worked for Hallmark for many years and now has his own design studio. We were attending a dinner with Ed and Bob Siedler (another former Hallmark designer) in September and happened to be sitting next to a long time college friend of Ed. Stop by Ed Seale Designs and see the picture.

StarTrek.com has added a new feature, The Trek Life, a weekly comic strip about three Trek fans. Looks promising.

I did manage to tear myself away from work long enough to go to the Bruce Springsteen concert last night (Saturday). Wow. Let me say that again, but with more emphasis. WOW! What an incredible show.
The Fox Theatre seats 4,500 people, and for the most part the crowd was silent during the show as he requested. Kristin and I talked after the show about the stage presence one has to have to hold a crowd that size riveted for a couple hours.
Here’s a link to the concert review from tomorrow’s Post-Dispatch.

Haven’t posted very often lately. This is the time of year when things get crazy at work, and most of my time is spent either at school or at home working on things at school (thank God for remote access!). Pre-program for the MBA students starts on 8/15, so I’m now down to my last week to get things done. Technically things don’t really get rolling until two weeks later when orientation starts and the rest of the class arrives, but my goal is to be done for pre-program.
So hopefully this will be a productive week and soon I can get back to a normal schedule and work on other things, like posting photos from our July road trip and getting ready for our October vacation in California.
