The number of customers at the Schaumburg store who are from Milwaukee and the surrounding area probably had more to do with it. Either way, I'm happy for Milwaukee. Lines were starting to form at 5 am. I happened to be in the city limits today, and on the two roads leading to the IKEA store they had police roadblocks and cops directing traffic it was so hectic. The IKEA is the first store to open in the Atlantic Station development here. It will soon be joined by a brand new massive aquarium and a mess of other anchor type retail stores.
