Trader Joe’s Opening Pushed Back

While running errands yesterday, I drove by the Brentwood Trader Joe’s. The sign on the window now saw that the grand opening will be October 29, two weeks later than originally announced. All of the fixtures are in place, and there appears to be some product on shelves. Coolers and freezers all appeared empty. There several people inside, with others going in and out. Some had the tropical shirt that is their uniform, so they must be interviewing and/or training people.
I’ve waited this long, so I suppose I can wait an additional two weeks.

I stopped by and asked someone in the store why there was a delay, and they said it was because they were awaiting their liquor license. I wish they would just open for business for those who don’t want alcohol!
