I’ve had a cold for almost two weeks now, and I’m really tired of the whole thing. I thought I was over the worst of it, but went home early on Tuesday feeling light-headed and later was pretty dizzy. Went to see the doctor the next day, and he thinks that the cold is messing with my inner ear (as they often do). I have some anti-vertigo medication to take (basically something for sea-sickness), but since it makes you drowsy, I can’t take it during the day. If this isn’t better by Monday, I have to go in and find out what else we can try. Cold should be over by then, so if not, maybe sinusitis or something else

Collen is doing quite well and acting like his old self. I’m not sure if the drugs are that good or whether his injury wasn’t as bad as it seemed. We kept him in the kitchen for a few days and just started letting him into the rest of the first floor. This weekend we’ll probably let him upstairs again. I think our bed will stay off-limits until we can get him some steps to shorten the distance for him.
